Throughout the Americas, Entonces y Siempre Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit charity, works to provide those in need with basic living essentials including but not limited to commodity food packages such as beans, flour and rice; housing support; and disaster relief as needed.
We're all busy, and the world is large. We recognize that so many people beyond the Americas need help as well...because we all live together. We all share a basic need for HOPE.
A donation will bring HOPE to many. We encourage you to give, but if you can't give money, your time is equally priceless. Let us light the path and keep us connected as we journey forth together. Won't you Come With Us?
ENTONCES Y SIEMPRE
Then & Always...which is truly the meaning of Entonces y Siempre and the English translation from Spanish.entonces: (pronounced: "N_tone-_say_zzz") 1. then 2. nowsiempre: (pronounced: "C_M_prayy") 1. always 2. ever 3. forever We'll be there "then" when disaster strikes... and after the photographers depart, and the attention moves on, we'll stay. When our friends and neighbors need a continued presence, we work together to provide them a future with HOPE. We work side by side with them to build a better life together. Then & Always.
ENTONCES.ORG operates in places where many UNESCO World Heritage sites exist and in places already frequently visited by tourists. We take “tourist/volunteers” to see places such as Machu Picchu, Angkor Wat, Chichén Itzá, and Tikal, to name a few notable examples. We promote “Social Tourism” to support local communities with the goal of bringing Hope to the larger community we all share. We use the money we raise from these "Support Trips" to buy food for the friends we make. We share food with them "Then", and our Mission is to have food when they need it - "Always". We stay in the places for a time after seeing the great sites, and we meet the people who live there. We share meals and build relationships. We foster those relationships and encourage them to grow. We stay after the flashes of the news photographers’ cameras are gone. We are already in place with friends and neighbors if disaster strikes, and we stay and rebuild. That’s who we are, your neighbors, your friends, your family, and people you can count on.
